Everything we get asked
Prices, drying, access, scope and coverage.
What does carpet cleaning cost in Sheffield?
Bedrooms are £35 for a single and £45 for a double, a lounge is £45, stairs and landing £40, and a whole three-bedroom house is £120. Sofas start at £50 for a two-seater. The full list has everything on it.
How soon can I walk on a cleaned carpet?
A couple of hours for most rooms, and properly dry the same day. We extract hard on the final passes so it leaves damp rather than soaked, and we carry air movers for anything that needs turning round faster.
Are your cleaners checked?
Every one is DBS-checked and the business is insured. Most of our customers are out at work when we are in their house, so that is the baseline rather than a boast.
Do you cover my part of Sheffield?
We work right across the city, S1 through to S36 — Hillsborough, Crookes, Ecclesall, Woodseats, Handsworth, Mosborough, Chapeltown, up to Stocksbridge and out to Dronfield. The areas page lists them.
What is the difference between a regular clean and a deep clean?
A regular visit keeps a house ticking over — surfaces, bathrooms, floors, kitchen. A deep clean resets it: inside cupboards and the oven, grout, skirtings, door tops, window tracks, behind the appliances. Deep cleans go out as a three-person team so the house is finished the same day.
Will you shift a stain that has been there for years?
Often, but not always, and we would rather say that plainly. Set dye spills, bleach marks and anything that has damaged the fibre itself may lighten rather than vanish. We tell you what we expect before we start, not afterwards.
Do you work evenings and weekends?
Regularly, particularly for venue seating, offices and end-of-tenancy work where the timing is set by somebody else. Ask when you book and we will tell you what we have.
Do I have to be in?
No. Plenty of customers leave a key or a code with us. Anything we hold is recorded against a job number rather than a street, so a lost keyring tells nobody anything.
Can I get a price without ringing up?
Yes — the booking page totals it up as you pick the rooms or items, then lets you send the request with a date and a preferred start time.
What if I am not happy with something?
Tell us quickly and we come back to it. We would far rather return and sort one room out than lose a customer over it.
Do you move furniture?
Anything two of us can shift safely comes out so we can clean under it. Fitted units, very heavy pieces and anything fragile stay where they are unless you are there to agree otherwise.
Can you clean leather?
Our upholstery pricing covers fabric. Leather takes different products and a different technique, so ring and describe it rather than booking it through the site.
Do you clean outside windows?
No. Internal glass, sills and tracks yes — included in deep cleans and move-outs, or £20 as an extra on a domestic visit. Outside window cleaning is a different trade and we would rather you used one.
What will you not take on?
Outside windows, gutters, anything needing a proper ladder, biohazard situations and severe hoarding. We will also leave clutter alone unless you have told us it is going.
Do you bring your own water and power?
We use an outside tap and a socket where there is one. Tell us in advance if there is neither and we will plan around it.
Are you insured?
Yes. If an agent or managing agent wants to see the paperwork before we start on site, ring and we will get it over to them.
How do pets factor in?
No problem at all, we just like knowing. Put it in the notes so whoever arrives is not surprised when the door opens.
Will you take rubbish away?
We will bag household waste and put it out for collection. We are not a licensed waste carrier, so bulky items and large volumes need somebody who is.
Do you do same-day work?
Sometimes, if there is a gap. It is always worth a phone call rather than assuming — cancellations happen.
Still unsure?
Ring and ask. No sales pitch, just an answer.
