In practice
The glass is how people judge it
Ask anybody whether their oven is clean and they will look at the door. That is because the inner faces of the door glass are where baked-on grease shows most, and they are the one part you cannot reach without taking the door apart.
Which is exactly what we do. The panels come out, both inner faces get cleaned, and the door goes back together. Everything removable — shelves, runners, trays, fan covers, pan supports, filters — goes into a soak at the same time, so it is actually cleaned rather than scrubbed at in situ.
The appliance is rebuilt, wiped out and ready to use before we leave. No waiting period, and no chemical smell on your first roast.

How long are you here?
Around ninety minutes for a single oven, longer for a double or a range. The soak is working on the removable parts while we are on the cavity.
Can I cook in it straight away?
Yes. It is rebuilt, wiped down and ready. There is no curing time and nothing to burn off.
Will the glass definitely come clear?
Nearly always, because we separate the panels rather than trying to reach between them. A few sealed units genuinely cannot be split, and if yours is one of them we will show you and explain what we can reach.
Do you do range cookers and AGAs?
Range cookers are on the list at the range rate. AGAs vary enormously — some are a straightforward strip down and others really are not, so send us a picture and we will give you an honest answer before turning up.
Is the oven safe for food afterwards?
Everything is rinsed and wiped thoroughly before reassembly. The appliance is left ready to cook in.
Can this go on another booking?
Yes. It is a common addition to a regular or one-off clean, and it is already included in the scope of both a deep clean and an end of tenancy.
